Black Seed Oil is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti fungal and antiviral. It also contains two highly potent phytochemical compounds, Thymoquinone and Thymohydroquinone. These two compounds have been proven to be directly related to providing relief to and possibly curing many diseases. The third compound, which helps make this oil well rounded is Thymol.
A little bit about Thymoquinone, Thymol and Thymohydroquinone because I know you’re like YES, I’VE GOT TO KNOW WHAT THESE THREE CHEMICALS DO!
I gotcha, I gotcha.
Thymoquinone: Is a compound specifically derived from the Nigella Sativa plant. This phytochemical compound is a high antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and actually has anti-cancerous properties. In many studies, it has been shown to reverse cancerous cells. Thymoquinone has potent regenerative properties, those in which closely resemble chemotherapy treatment. Thymoquinone is high in antioxidants that turns free radicals in the body into harmless molecules. These properties help fight infections within the body, ease pain and reduce inflammation.
Thymohydroquinone: Is a potent acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor. AChE is an enzyme that actually promotes the breakdown of neurotransmitters in the brain. Neurotransmitters are compounds within the brain that are signal molecules. What these molecules do, is they communicate between nerve cells and muscle cells. This natural chemical is what pharmaceutical companies try to mimic when producing medications for mental disease such as, Alzheimers, Autism, Schizophrenia and many other neurological disorders.
Thymol: Is a natural chemical found in the oil of Thyme. It is a strong antiseptic, anti fungal, and antibacterial. All these compounds are very useful in fighting off infections and other diseases in the body.
All three of these chemical compounds are what make this oil the mother load. So far it is the only oil that contains these properties together. Besides Oregano oil, it is the second highest regarded oil when it comes to improving health.
